An iconic sporting club
The redevelopment of the clubhouse was a major investment for one of Australia’s top golf courses. Barwon Heads Golf Club also celebrated the 100th anniversary.
BHGC engaged Fisher Classics to create a graphic collage to celebrate the presence of the clubhouse in the Australian coastline over the past 100 years.
The artwork was unveiled for members and dignitaries at the official reopening of the clubhouse.

Original thinking
An original post from the clubhouse was secured and machined down to become the frame of the artwork. The concept was as the clubhouse had framed so much tradition and club culture, it would frame the artwork that celebrated it.

A great celebration
The unveiling was a real highlight of the Club’s reopening celebrations, with more than 300 guests in attendance.
The piece was unveiled by James Sutherland, CEO of Golf Australia, and Dawn Macdonald, BHGC Life Member and former elite amateur golfer.
